My name is Craig Selinger. I am a speech language pathologist, commonly referred to as a speech language therapist, that primarily visits families of infants, preschoolers, and school-age children in the convenience of your Manhattan or Brooklyn home (primarily Park Slope). See below for office based options.
My expertise includes speech and language delay (including bilingualism), autism spectrum, school-age learning disabilities (literacy difficulties), and early childhood non-medical feeding issues. I am PROMPT and ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) trained and also have experience with children that have sensory integration difficulties.
My clients are diverse, including teaching gifted children. Given this spectrum, I offer therapy/tutoring customized to each child's/student's particular learning style. With toddlers and preschoolers, I emphasize therapeutic play, using a Vygotskyian approach, and coach parents to use the most effective (evidence-based) techniques rooted in cutting-edge scientific research on brain development.
A new
small group, elementary level, literacy circle is being formed in Park
Slope to promote literacy as a positive learning experience. Click on the programs link above to learn more about the 10 different programs and classes that I offer.
I operate out of two offices in Park Slope, Brooklyn. My

Place, close to the 2,3,B,&Q subway lines. Click on the upper right hand rates link for prices.
